In other news the US Election! Just 12 days to go and fingers crossed we'll see the white house turning blue and someone with half a brain running the world.

BUT I tell you what will cheer you up in this uncertain times (not to mention the credit crunch (and that's not a new cereal)) but we have a G-I-G on Sunday 26th October for all you London dwellers! It's gonna be a smash with Example and it's all ages! 2pm at the Ramshackle. Be there!

START THE miniBUS

So we've just arrived at our second show of today, at Bristols Start The Bus. We started our mini-bus escapade this morning at 6am, drove to Cornwall and played Surfstock...the cutest little festival with the cheapest alcohol I've seen for a while! We got to see the Alphabeat guys and had a chat to the fuckin amazing (check him out now) Nathan 'Flutebox' Lee.

If you're seeing us in Bristol tonight come say hi...if not and you're in london see you at The Lock Tavern tomorrow @ 8.

So we landed in Ibiza (aka party island, the white isle, chav central, beefa) sleepy and groggy at silly o clock on saturday morning to be greeted by our wonderful promoters picking us up and a full roster of luggage flowing on to the baggage carousel. This was of course followed by the apartment we're staying in and the wonderful view, with of course the drawbacks of having no water and no shops being open that late!

The next day was spent hanging around the apartment and finding the money boxes that are a strange parallel to us....

So then suddenly it was Sunday night and we were playing to no one but some lads from Hartlepool, with Monday being much the same plus maybe a few more.
Oh, and of course we carried on taking pictures, especially of our boat ride....

And crash bang wallop it's Tuesday and we're on the stage with no soundcheck in support of The Automatic and The Courteeners. Wonderful stuff, especially with good old free drinks and Xboxes in the hotel!

W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y spelt a strange request to 'jam' with the DJ as much as bass and drums and keyboard and cowbell can do at 430 in the morning!! We were very confused but the crowd loved it, as did 6am when we finally got to bed.

So we're all packed into our tourmobile on the way to a festival in kent with the hoosiers and scouting for girls (we're not in the car with them, they're just playing). We've been writing lots of songs and getting ready for our little trip to ibiza. So inbetween practicing our songs/girls aloud covers and playing a few small london shows what's our new 'thing'... READING!.. (That's as in reading books not the town on the M4)

And guess what we have two (not really) new members (they've been in it a good while now) but of course still your favourite Stefan and Maya (even though Henry and Dru clearly make the band) since musflash, which I think can safely be called the stuff of archives given it's OAP status in the world of film.
But no seriously I thought a post would be nice for people who have been checking our blog with no reward but to be faced with the same post they read last time.
What's been happening in The Clik Clik World (we don't call our lives that) I hear you (proverbially) cry?

Well firstly as you can see my bracket keys must have honey on them by the amount I've already put in this post and we've just (5 days ago) finished the alphabeat-university ball-one london show tour! And I can assure you a tour diary of this in youtuberey video form will appear on your screens sooner than you can say "i just bought the clik clik's single 'did you wrong' from itunes", which i'm sure those of you who narrate their own lives will be saying. No but seriously, buy it from itunes.

I'm also pretty sure we have lots of stickers left so we need to get some more fresh ones on the streets! As my friend found this one in a sorry state:

In other news, seriously loving two bands, Fleet Foxes and Late Of The Pier. If you haven't heard of them yet you need to hear them, so go forth!

Pop! Goes the Diesel...

Yo guys, here's a picture of us clikers with some lovely lads and ladies in Carnaby St... why... because of the free Carnaby St party OBVIOUSLY!

So we got invited to a happening at the Puma store and thought we'd pop down, little did we know that the guys at Grazia putting on this event were putting it on down the whole street! Suddenly a normal Thursday evening going to Cheapskates turned into a whirlwind blaze of free alcohol, half naked men/women, broken bottles, using Liberty as public toilets, water-pistols, water-drenched maya, beach balls, superstar rappers and a game of extremely camp but incredibly vicious football. Staying true to our roots we still ended up at club moonlighting otherwise known as Cheapskates to finish ourselves off with some 80p mixers.

Having started so early though our evening crashed and burned early with me waking up on Drus shoulder and spotting Maya on her Nintendo DS, then it was hooooomeward bound on the nightbus. Free drinks never tasted so good, but rehearsal head-aches have definitely felt better.

Did You Wrong Video Shoot!!

Hey guys!

So on Tuesday we shot the video for 'Did You Wrong' which was amazing! It was a crazy long day, filming from 8.30am in the morning all the way until 10 at night!

But we weren't too busy to take pictures and here's some for you to see!

So it all started with Stefan and a very heavy boombox…

Which, as you can see, was a work of art…

And of course being on a film set brings a lot of waiting around and eating lots of food so this is how most of the day was spent…

And here's Henry with Jo Woodcock, our good old done-wrong friend!

We also had our good friend Reuben on hand to film a 'Making Of…' documentary, which will also be up for your viewing pleasure pretty soon!

Then came the crazy part where it was literally a wrap…

There we are, Maya in the cake, Henry in wrapped up and Dru wrapped up with his hat perched on top!

And of course what video shoot would be complete without celebratory pizza at the end of the day?

So all in all we had a great time, and a big thanks to the Colonel Blimp crew, Diesel, the people on the estate we filmed it on and our wonderful director Lily Smith!

The road to newcastle!

Ok so here we are embarking on our long jorney to newcastle for the second leg of the hadouken tour. After having a couple of days off back home the day began at 6.30!! so I can easily say we all missed the first 2 hours of the trip!! We are currently listening to a bit MGMT with stef air drumming in the back singing the lyrics from the inlay! ...I'll leave you with that image and get back to my juice.

First update from the tour, the crowd have been amazing. We were greeted in manchester with stickers to sign which was a crazy surprise and not only that but both the manchester and birmingham shows the kids have been singing along!

Right now we're in the car off to sheffield, home of steel and the monkeys and the ting tings... All in all home of the 'the' so we should fit right at home! THE clik clik signing off...

So... completely un-music related but I'd just like to talk you through two things that I have found completely pointless this week...

1.

RIP-OFF chocolate bars, while eating breakfast me and maya were discussing why supermarkets feel they have to completely rip off other peoples ideas... why not just stock it yourself? I mean sure, it's half the price but it always has that same not as good taste. I mean sure if I'm picking up my usual prawn sandwich from Marks&Spencer I might get a marks and spencer brand coconut milk chocolate bar *DING* *DING* *DING* SORRY... BOUNTY!!... POINTLESS!

What the fuck even is this?! I've been alive now for 19 years and I don't seem to EVER remember it working, oh my god I'm so annoyed at the thought of these things... does anyone else find it a bit weird we still have them? I remember my mum telling me it's for in the winter when they keep the cold air out the trains but I swear I have never ever seen these things in action, they light up but when I press it nothing... POINTLESS!

So here we are in norwich playing for the skins tour, standing outside the UEA which has the coolest fucking stage I have ever seen at a venue. Dru is currently giving henry a piggy back and we've found lots of bunnies around the campus...

We're onstage at 11.20pm and our rider consists of vodka, red stripe, sushi (as dru is wheat intolerant) and lots of tesco essentials which is proving gooood for tonight! We're staying in the local travel lodge which is always a laugh and a half as the beds are surprisingly comfy!

So as I hear our blogspot has become something of a celebrity hangout I thought I’d update the world on what’s going on with us clikerrrs!
No we don’t really call ourselves that.
And currently being in the car to our favourite Cardiff I have a llittle time to spare…
So after flicking through the pages of our favourite Saturday supplement we suddenly saw some faces that looked familiar, before realising that it was in fact us smiling gormlessly back from the pages with a fake camera in hand. And in case you didn’t see it….

So we started the ‘Skins Life Tour’ (all 3 dates we’re doing of it) on Friday in Magical Manchester, where we – although disappointed at the no show of current Skins cast members – had a great time and met a TV presenter, Diesel’s birthday party and literally a real life version of that bloke from Shameless.
Here’s us feeling like real life Skins characters!

And with these hours to while away on the road we also took some snaps, a little insight into our travelling motorway home (we don’t live in the car).

While I took it upon myself to make sure at least one of us was informed / intelligent / amazing at bass.

While Maya was busy being hounded by paparazzi...

Also gearing up for the Hadouken! tour we treated Dru to a shiny new drum skin so when you see us live you might not still hear Stefan’s regular ‘C-L-I-K C-L-I-K’ explanation that usually entertains our audiences.

In other news, we’re filming the video for ‘Did You Wrong’ soon so you heroes can see our little faces on video!

Ah and one more thing, do come and see us at Camden Crawl next week! We’re playing on Friday (18/04) at Proud Galleries. And if you fancy a swim in North London on Saturday (19/04), paddle on down to Archway Swimming Pool where – no joke – we’re playing an acoustic set on an island in the water.

That's right... we're in the NME!

That's exciting stuff, it's our first NME appearance and hopefully one of many! We're currently preparing for the auditions of a new bass player and drummer, wish us luck we'll keep you guys updated! Here is a video of my 5yr old cousin torturing her cat for youtube viewers... she set this up herself and everything!

Alright?!

So we've just finished a little stint of shows, from Brighton to Amersham (where a car nearly blew us up!) then from Hertford to Harrow (where we all sang through guitar monitors) and then... no wait that was it! Good all round, cheers to everyone who came out to watch us play. Popjustice have been showing us recent love aswel as Zane Lowe and from tomorrow NME which is pretty cool! Looks like there's still lots of exciting stuff coming up, like our singal launch early December and our date with Lethal Bizzle at The Tumbridge Wells Forum. It's just turned Halloween and I'm getting in the spirit by looking at youtube videos of cats talking, and with that I'll leave you with the most amazing one!
